This is the coverage that will respond for the loss, injury or death of a customers’ pet in your care,including coverage for emergency vet expenses. You do not have to be sued to use this coverage. A limit per occurrence is provided in case there are multiple pets involved in the same claim, such as could happen with boarding, daycare or dog walking.

Leasehold Improvements & Renovations
What is the cost today to rebuild renovations you are responsible for. If you are leasing space, you are responsible for any leasehold improvements you make. Also check your lease as it will indicate if you’re also responsible for glass, heating/air conditioning, electrical system or leasehold improvements made by prior tenants or the landlord. The amount you enter must be enough to rebuild the improvements you’re responsible for to enable your unit to be rebuilt to its current setup after a claim.

If you are sued for negligence for things like accidental injury to animals, or if a customer slips and falls, liability coverage will cover the cost to defend you and to settle the lawsuit up to the limit you choose. Anyone can sue you for any amount of money – how much the actually get is another thing, making it difficult to know how much liability coverage is enough. The best advice we can give you is to choose the highest limit you can afford – it usually costs less than you think.
The deductible is how much the insurance company will reduce your claim settlement by for most property damage claims (i.e., if it costs $3,000 to replace your contents that were lost in a fire and you have a $500 deductible, the insurance company would pay $3,000 minus the $500 deductible for a total of $2,500).
